The 2025 ACM Awards nominations are out — and, as always, they sparked plenty of buzz.

From fresh faces dominating the ballot to some major artists getting shut out, here are the biggest snubs of this year’s list.

Snubs

1. Beyoncé Shut Out Despite Major Grammy Wins

Even after Cowboy Carter won the Grammy for Best Country Album and “II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus took home Best Country Duo/Group Performance, Beyoncé didn’t receive a single ACM nomination. That’s despite ACM voting beginning two weeks after the Grammys. It’s a deja vu moment for Queen Bey, who was also left out of last year’s CMA nominations.

2. Luke Combs Left Off Album of the Year List

Luke Combs scored three ACM nominations — including Entertainer of the Year — but many fans were shocked to see Fathers & Sons left out of the Album of the Year category. His past three albums were all nominated in that slot, and Fathers & Sons even earned a CMA nod back in November.

3. Lady A Misses Vocal Group of the Year Again

Lady A isn’t in the running for Vocal Group of the Year — something that’s only happened once since 2008. Without a new album since 2021’s What A Song Can Do, the trio has lost some awards momentum. Still, given their three past wins, their absence feels noticeable.

4. Ashley McBryde Skipped in Female Artist of the Year

Ashley McBryde had been nominated in the Female Artist of the Year category for four straight years — until now. While she didn’t release a full album in 2024, her new single “Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs” and her ongoing tour with Cody Johnson had fans expecting another nomination. She’s no stranger to ACM wins, which makes this year’s skip surprising.
